This garden centre & farm shop near Wisbech really does know how to diversify! Worzal’s Christmas event has taken social media by storm in recent years, and much like Father Christmas, it seems the Easter Bunny also knows how to deliver!

Scavenger Hunt
When you first enter the experience, you are given a wrist band, a Scavenger Hunt sheet and a pencil. There are egg shaped clues hidden around the attraction, each providing one letter of the winning phrase. Collect them all and rearrange them in the right order to win a chocolate treat!
Potting with Princesses
One of my favourite unique springtime activities included in the ticket price was potting miniature daffodils. There were 4 perfectly designed work benches set up for the activity, complete with sturdy wooden steps (for helping little ones reach), soil troughs and wooden trowels. The princess or storybook character of the day (it was Belle from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast when we visited) would then rotate around the different work areas talking to the children, asking them about their Easter and helping them pot their flowers in a fun and natural way. Belle was charming, remembered our son’s name throughout the event and made him feel like he had really done gardening with a Disney character. Core memory made! As a parent, it was also refreshing to take home a quality souvenir that wasn’t edible and laced in sugar!

Adventure Play Area
Zip-line, slides, climbing equipment, swings, pedal-powered tractors… there is plenty for the children here. The best thing is, there are tables & chairs along one side of the area, and only one way in or out, so you can let your children play independently, knowing they weren’t going to get lost or escape!

Meet The Easter Bunny
If your child ever dreamed of meeting the Easter Bunny, this genuinely charming encounter is a must. He is cute, cuddly and loves having his photo taken! The setting is lovely too, and Belle was available to take photographs for us so we could get a rare whole-family picture.

‘Real’ Tractors!
As real as it gets for a 5 year old, these electric tractors are £1 per go (not included in admission price), and are very popular! Teddy loved practicing his driving skills around the circular track with his new found friends. Just be sure to bring some £1 coins with you as they are indeed coin operated.

Optional Extras
There are two other payable extras that you can experience at Worzals at Easter. First of all, Hook-A-Duck is £3 per go, and thankfully everyone wins a prize (and you get to choose). There is also Face Painting available at £5 per child, however Teddy was far too busy running around in the play area, so we didn’t experience this for ourselves this visit.

Food & Drink
So far everything has been for the kids, and rightfully so, but for the grown-ups in the group, there are plenty of hot and cold food and beverage items available to purchase during your visit. A vast array of ice creams, fresh waffles, loaded popcorn, loaded fries, speciality coffees and flavoured hot chocolates can be enjoyed throughout the experience, with plenty of tables and chairs at the entrance to the aforementioned adventure playground for you to relax.
Top Tips
- Get there on time to maximise your fun
- Queue for the Easter Bunny Meet & Greet 5 minutes early
- Take £1 coins for the ride-on tractors
- Get someone to take a whole family picture for you
- Wear weather-appropriate clothes (although its a covered attraction, the temperature is similar to outside, so wrap up if its a chilly day)
In Summary
A great value, unique and fun family event for Easter. Much better for children than the average egg hunt with egg prize, you get plenty of entertainment for your money. Just remember to budget for those little extras and tasty treats that you will want to enjoy when you’re there.
